Personalities aside, because lets face it that is a debate for elsewhere, this really is an album full of very good songs. Lyrically it is second to none with insightful tunes like 'America', 'Pop Song' and even 'Kirby's House'. Musically Razorlight back up the song writing especially if you get the chance to see them live, you'll struggle to find anyone who is not impressed with their shows. At times there is a touch of Talking Heads, but that is no bad thing as Razorlight are definitely original comnpared to most of their contemporaries. But if you like the Kaiser Chiefs, Keane and Snow Petrol scenes this may not be for you. If however you are from the Primal Scream, Blur or the White Stripes school of thought you've got nothing to lose. |

This no1 album is brilliant and cements Razorlight's position as the best band in Britain! Great tunes that keep your feet jiggling continue throughout! America, I Can't Stop This Feeling Iv'e Got, LA Waltz, Before I FAll To Pieces, Hold On are all potential singles! Not to mention In The Morning! Ther are some beautiful beautiful songs on this album - so be sure to get it! |
